How do I make an order? - Just click on the product of your choice, add it to your cart. This will take you to your shopping cart where quantities can be changed. Then click 'checkout' to fill out your credit card details to pay for your chosen items. We also have a bank transfer option which will take longer as we have to wait for the payment to clear, please follow the instructions in the checkout cart.
How do I pay for my order? Is it safe to use my credit card? - When you checkout you are directed to Shopify secure payment gateway where you can enter your details safely.
Payment Options - On checkout you can either opt to pay by Credit Card, Paypal or Poli Live Bank Transfer. Credit Card and Poli Bank Transfer transactions are processed immediately and in most cases your order will be shipped on the same or next working day.
We accept payments using VISA, Mastercard and American Express. Payments are made through Shopify, which is an approved and secure payment gateway. If you are purchasing outside of New Zealand we accept payment in NZ dollars and you can pay with NZ dollars and your card provider will convert this to your currency at the current bank exchange rate. (please check with your bank).
A pre order is an order placed that is not yet in stock. We often open pre-orders for popular items that sell out quickly. This allows us to immediately dispatch item when the product arrives in stock. Pre-orders that include other items will all be sent out together as one delivery to economise on shipping charges.
How much does shipping cost? - Checkout has all the delivery options currently available including our standard nationwide rate of $5.99, which does not include rural addresses. Rural deliveries come at an extra cost listed currently at $7.99 nationwide. Pre order items – when a pre-order arrives we will do our best to despatch the item as soon as possible. Although we put estimate dates on the website these dates may change as delays can occur that we cannot control. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are Unable to deliver to a post office box or private bag
Shipping is always free within New Zealand on any order that comes to a total of $100.00+
Do you give free samples, use bloggers or influencers, or do sponsorship support? We use our Social Media comps (FB or Insta) as fun ways to promote our products and give out samples to our loyal social media fans. We try to do at least one FB competition a week.
We don't usually use/ collab with bloggers or social media influences, but feel free to email us at email@example.com as every situation is different and considered.
I'm after a certain product can you order it in for me? - We might already have a product you're interested in coming so please contact us and we'll see if we can help you out! Otherwise use our FB page to stay up to date or make any suggestions, The more support a product has, the harder we try to get it in.
What if my order is wrong or lost? - We will always do our best to make sure our customers are happy. Please see check out our Terms page or contact us to discuss any problems directly, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - We treat every enquiry different, depending on the situation.
What if my item is faulty or damaged?
ScandiAva understands its obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. We are happy to provide you with a refund. Please contact us immediately we may ask you to send us photograph of the damage. We will try and send a replacement if available, otherwise a refund will be issued. Please use this link and subject as returns XXXX.
Note: sale items we do not accept returns or refunds unless there is a manufacture fault with the item. Faulty items this does not affect your consumer rights and we will meet our obligations under the Fair Trading Act 1986
ScandiAva reserves the right to reject returns outside the return period, or when the items upon inspection are not in their original condition and/or packaging.
How long will my order take to arrive? - Orders will arrive between 2- 7 days depending on the delivery option you choose and the day your ordered. (Currently there are no weekend courier runs, so if you order Thursday night or Friday your order will arrive Monday at the earliest.) We try our very best, working late and past our normal operation hours to get all packages sent off asap. Please check your track and trace first and give your parcel at least 5 days before contacting us about your order. (In case it was made on a Thursday but doesn't arrive until the Monday or Tuesday if in a rural area or public holiday.) Rural packages usually take 1 extra day. To see our shipping rates.
A product is 'Currently Out of Stock' or Disappeared from the site. How long until it's available again? - If you are after something in particular, please contact us straight away by emailing at email@example.com or for the quickest response, please Facebook messenger us FB :)
